This limited-time pop-up at La Vida Coffee Downtown San Antonio transforms the café into Buddy’s Christmas whimsical North Pole experience for guests of all ages. Festive décor, themed drinks, photo moments, Santa visits, and holiday surprises turning every visit into a joyful adventure straight out of the movie. This event is thoughtfully designed by Let’s Party SA to spread Christmas cheer and create joyful memories in the heart of the city.

How it works 

​Arrive & Enjoy the Magic
​When you arrive at La Vida Coffee, you’ll be guided to our Elf-themed area step into our Elf-inspired corner for the world’s best cup of coffee! The holiday décor is open to guests all December long, while Breakfast with the Elves is a special ticketed experience available only on select days.

Breakfast With the Elves Public FAQ

Will Buddy the Elf and Santa be there?
​Yes! Buddy the Elf will be entertaining guests who have purchased tickets during the breakfast sessions.
Santa Claus will be available for photos only during the Breakfast With the Elves event dates, and only within assigned time slots for ticketed guests.
Photos with Santa are not available outside of the official event sessions.

Are photos included?
Yes! A professional photographer will capture:

  • Photos with Santa (during assigned time slots)
  • Buddy interactions (ticketed guests only)
  • Candid magical moments
    All photos will be delivered digitally.
 Will the coffee shop be open to the public during the event?
Yes. La Vida Coffee will remain open; however:
  • The event table area will be sectioned off
  • Only ticket holders may enter the decorated breakfast area
  • The rest of the shop will stay open for regular customers
 Can we visit the photo spots even if we’re not attending breakfast?
Yes! When no breakfast session is in progress, the themed holiday photo spots will be open for customers to enjoy.

Are children allowed? What about babies?
Absolutely! This experience is designed for families. Babies are welcome.Additional booking-day details such as stroller placement or high-chair requests will be handled directly with ticket holders.

 What about food allergies?
Our breakfast menu is fixed.
Guests with dietary restrictions or allergies are welcome to bring their own alternative food

 Where do we park?
Guests are responsible for their own parking. Nearby options include:
  • Street meters (often available earlier in the morning)
  • A public parking lot across the street
We recommend arriving early to secure a spot.
